Dear Holy Cross Alumni and Friends,

We would like to wish you and your family all the best in 2008.

In December, we had our Christmas party at Houlihan's restaurant off Michigan Avenue.

A number of alums, current students, friends and staff took time out of their busy holiday schedules to attend the event sponsored by Deb Foley-White, alumna and proud member of the HCC Board of Trustees.

Over 50 toys, books, dolls, games and various other gifts were collected for Children's Memorial Hospital in Lincoln Park.

Thanks are an order to everyone who was able to come out and support both the club and this worthwhile charity.

In other news, the Holy Cross Club of Chicago was honored during the 2008 Ave Crux Weekend. On Saturday February 9th, the Windsor Park Conference Center in Mishawaka served as the perfect backdrop for a dinner/dance where the college handed out its 2008 Alumni Awards. Art and the Artichokes, the band formed by students at HCC in the 80's, got the crowd singing and dancing while the snow fell and the temperature dipped below freezing."
